These round, compressed charcoal sticks are used to make even, smooth, dark black strokes. There are an almost unlimited number of applications to use charcoal with: sketching, drafting, painting and in combination with colored pastels. Fantastic results can be achieved by smudging the strokes or dissolving charcoal particles in water.
